Positions Available
1. Air Trades
- Age: 15-20 years (as of 30th June 2025)
- Height: 163-188 cm
- Education:
- Matric with 60% aggregate marks.
- Minimum 33% in English and 47% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Physical Fitness:
- 75/150 in physical tests.
- 1-mile run in 8 minutes.
2. PF&DI (Physical Fitness & Drill Instructor)
- Age: 16.5-22 years (as of 30th June 2025)
- Height: 175-188 cm
- Education: Matric with 60% marks.
- Physical Fitness: Higher emphasis on physical conditioning.
3. Sportsman
- Age: 15-20 years (as of 30th June 2025)
- Height: 163-188 cm
- Education: Matric with 60% marks.
- Skills: Proficiency in relevant sports (documentation and proof of achievements required).
4. Mechanical Transport Driver (MTD)
- Age:
- Civilians: 17.5-22 years.
- Drivers with LTV/HTV license: 17.5-24 years (as of 30th June 2025).
- Height: 168-188 cm
- Education: Matric with 45% marks.
- Skills: Must hold valid LTV/HTV licenses.
5. Firefighter
- Age: 17.5-22 years (as of 30th June 2025)
- Height: 168-188 cm
- Education: Matric with at least 45% marks.
- Skills: Basic firefighting skills required.
Educational Qualifications
- Air Trades: 60% aggregate marks in Matric (including 33% in English and 47% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
- PF&DI & Sportsman: 60% marks in Matric.
- MTD & Firefighter: 45% marks in Matric.
Physical Fitness Requirements
- Air Trades & PF&DI:
- 75/150 in physical fitness tests.
- 4 chin-ups, 15 reach-ups, 20 push-ups.
- 1-mile run in 8 minutes.
- Sportsman: Proficiency in relevant sports with documentary proof.
- Firefighter & MTD: Same fitness criteria as above, with additional role-specific skills.
Application Procedure
Required Documents
- CNIC or B-form.
- Four passport-sized photographs.
- Educational certificates (Matric and above).
- Domicile certificate.
- Sports documentation (if applying for Sportsman position).
Registration
- Register online at the official PAF website: www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
- Alternatively, visit the nearest PAF Information & Selection Center and submit your documents in person.
Selection Procedure
- Written Test: Subject-based test according to the applied position.
- Physical Fitness Test: Stamina, strength, and endurance evaluation.
- Medical Examination: Preliminary and detailed medical check-ups.
- Interview: Final assessment by the recruitment board.
